Honestly, I had never had one until, now. They are good cookies. A little crisp when you bite in. So much powdered sugar that you really need to eat in one bite unless you want to be dusted in white stuff!
They don’t exactly melt in your mouth but have a nice crumbly texture thanks to ground walnuts. RLB chose toasted walnuts over the the traditional Pecan base to give a deeper, nuttier flavor.
They are not too sweet but the powdered sugar adds an extra little sweetness to compliment the cookie. They make a really nice bite while savoring an espresso!
