THIS. IS. NOT. A. COOKIE.
Yes it is, but it is not. I can’t really describe the flavor. It comes off a kind of like peanut butter but not. If I had to guess, I would defnintely not say sesame or tahini (which is it’s main flavor ingredient.) The sesame flavor is there but it is so subtle that it give a je ne sais quois element to the cookie. (Fancy, aren’t I now.) It is sweet – savory in the best way. It is cispy-crunchy, and the sesame seeds give it an extra little pop of texture.
Just really, really, realy good. 
All of my Cookie Monster tasters fell in love with this cookie.
I was blown away at the response
I mean really blown away.
Like a completely different response than to ANY of my previous cookies.
It is so unique that everyone had a different rection, albeit a good one every time.
RLB does offer a variation using Black Sesame seeds which makes it look almost like chololate.
I think I will add that variation after I get throught the millioooon recipes that I have in front of me!
By the way… did I say that this is really good!
